What evidence is there for the ET Hypothesis?

Debunkers of this subject would have you believe that there does not exist any evidence at all for the ET Hypothesis but, in fact, this simply is not true. There are a multitude of UFO cases that have left unexplainable physical traces. There are an enormous amount of eye witness cases involving people of unimpeachable character, including high ranking military, police, civilian and military pilots, and people in high ranking civilian positions of authority as well. Not to mention the large amount of abnormal and anomalous data that keeps showing up in NASA media (video, pictures, data, and other sources). Since the modern UFO era began, there have been many, many civilian UFO organizations investigating, collecting, and filing the reports of UFO encounters. Sadly, some organizations have gone the way of the dinosaur but others have flourished. I am not going to give you a detailed history on UFO organizations. I just think you should know that there are many resources for researching UFO information for yourself.

Following the research these scientists have completed (many books have been published by them), should set you on the path to understanding the topic quite well.

The focus of this article is about the evidence for the ET Hypothesis and the quote below helps us understand from the point of view of a well known scientist (Stanton Friedman – Nuclear Physicist) that the evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the ET Hypothesis.

Many years ago, Stanton Friedman published a book called “Crash at Corona” and is based on his many, many years of research of the Roswell Crash of 1947. He also published a book called “Flying Saucers and Science” which covers why the ET hypothesis is valid and has a chapter dedicated to an update on the Roswell Incident. Those are two good reads by an outstanding author and UFOlogy researcher for anyone interested in the UFO subject. “The Case for the ET Origin of Flying Saucers

One of the standard claims of UFO debunkers is that there is not evidence that any unidentified flying saucers (UFOs) are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft. After all, we have only anecdotes, usually from uneducated people looking for publicity. No scientists have seen UFOs; there are no radar cases; there is no physical evidence; governments can’t keep secrets; all that crash landed at Roswell was an array of Mogul balloons; so on and so forth. As it happens, all of these claims are false. This chapter will replace these myths with the facts.

I start all of my “Flying Saucers ARE Real” lectures with these four conclusions, which I’ve reached after more than 50 years of study and investigation:

1. The evidence that planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft is overwhelming. In other words, some UFOs are ET spacecraft. Most are not – I don’t care about them.

2. The subject of flying saucers represents a kind of Cosmic Watergate. That means that some few people in our government have known since at least 1947, when at least two crashed flying saucers and several alien bodies were recovered in New Mexico, that indeed some UFOs were alien spacecraft. This does not mean that everybody in the government knows. The way to keep secrets is to restrict their distribution to as few people as possible and stick by a strong need-to-know policy. (In Chapter 5 I will prove that there has been a cover up.)

3. There are no good arguments against conclusions number 1 and 2, despite the very vocal claims of a small group of noisy negativists such as the late Carl Sagan, a classmate of mine for three years at the University of Chicago. The debunking claims sound great. However, once one examines the data, they collapse, because of an abesense of evidence to support them, and the presence of evidence that contradicts them.

4. Flying saucers are the bigest story of the millennium: visits to planet Earth by alien spacecraft and the successful cover-up of the best data, bodies, and wreckage, for more than 60 years. ”

On to another prominent scientist James E. McDonald (May 7, 1920 – June 13, 1971). An American physicist that unquestionably believed that the UFOs represented extraterrestrial visitation and who was senior physicist at the Institute for Atmospheric Physics and professor in the Department of Meteorology, University of Arizona, Tucson. He worked tirelessly to convince Congress to hold serious, substantial subcommittee meetings to explore the UFO reality.

This is just two scientists that were convinced as to the reality of the ET Hypothesis. It is no small thing that there are scientists that believed in the ET Hypothesis as the correct answer to what the UFO phenomena represents and there are more than just these two. For instance, J. Allen Hynek – astronomer, professor, and ufologist, and Peter Sturrock – an emeritus professor of applied physics at Stanford University. These are just a couple more, but there are more still. While this is not evidence, it is a testament that the theory should not be disregarded out-of-hand, and that more scientists should take the subject far more seriously than they have over the last 80 years.

Has there been any collection of actual physical evidence over the last 70 years? Why, yes there has! I will not list all of the physical trace cases here but will provide links to sites that have already collated the data and made it available for review. One such link is in the list of links above.

One outstanding and recent physical trace case is the Rendelsham Forest Case – this case contains many credible military witnesses and physical traces too. Also, the obvious one, the Roswell Incident. Another is the Socorro, New Mexico / Zamora Case. These are just a few of the more well known physical trace cases. There are plenty more. Go here for a fairly up-to-date list. These are the cases that the debunkers generally steer clear of because they usually don’t have any intelligent argument against these types of cases because there is physical evidence that “something” happened. There are many types of physical evidence which include; Radar recordings, landing impressions, unusual residue left by the UFO, meta materials associated with crashed UFOs, people with burns or radiation effects documented in their medical records, etc. Usually, the debunkers will eventually resort to attacking the credibility of the witnesses and “poo pooing” the physical evidence.

If that is not enough to convince you, then let’s talk about the many, many credible witnesses of unimpeachable character that were brought to speak at the Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure that took place in 2001. This was organized and presented by several people but the public face for this hearing was Dr. Stephen Greer who was deeply involved in the organization of the hearing as well. He had, at that time, over 500 first-hand eye witnesses of outstanding character, and now there are over 800. This is no small achievement. Not only were eye witnesses presented, he also presented many, many declassified and or classified (leaked) government documents as well.

What about cases involving Astronauts? Yes. We have those as well. There is a multitude of evidence in the form of official NASA media (audio recordings, photos, videos, etc.) which contain information concerning UFOs. Nearly all STS Shuttle mission videos have anomalous activity captured during spacewalks and operations outside the shuttle spacecraft. Normally, NASA officials explain the anomalies away as “ice crystals” or “space debris” of some sort, because, you know… They can’t use the “weather balloon” excuse for unidentifiable stuff in space. You may say that photos and video can be faked. Yes, it is fairly easy today to fake images and digital media, but hold on… The larger part of official NASA photographs and mission related media was from the 1960s and 1970s. Back then, it was not easy to fake photos or audio.

The U. S. Navy has recently admitted to encountering UFO’s that are unexplainable and unidentifiable due to the release of 3 videos with anomalous ariel objects. Too, government officials have admitted that they are in possession of “meta-materials” (materials manufactured on the nano scale in atomic layers that are only a few atoms thick) that are completely unexplainable from the stand-point that no country or organization on Earth has the ability to reproduce these pieces of anomalously manufactured materials.

At this point, if you are not one of those people that simply refuse to be convinced or cannot be convinced due to religious or other restrictions, then you should be asking yourself why the “skeptics” still refuse to listen. Ask yourself this question, “Really, how much evidence is going to be required?” Apparently, more and more and more. Most likely, there will never be enough evidence to sway the opinion of the die-hard “skeptics”. If you are a logical and critical thinker though, you should be listening to the Astronauts and other people in a position to know, and those that have witnessed the real deal, not to mention all the government documentation on the subject. Scientists, astronauts, government documentation, hundreds of witnesses of unimpeachable character at the Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure, the never-ending new anomalous material being generated by NASA themselves. I believe the weight of evidence is past the critical point now and there is enough evidence to deduce the truth of the matter. Don’t you?
