My Thoughts on the Ancient Alien Hypothesis

Aliens? Intelligent extraterrestrial (ET) life? Is it real? Does it exist?

I am of the opinion that it is highly likely that they do. The extraterrestrial hypothesis is not out of the question and it could explain many religious experiences described by many religions throughout history and around the world.

Although, our current scientists claim that it is impossible that intelligent life is visiting Earth from somewhere out there. Analyzing their side of the debate, we can see that they are framing their argument from this point of view: They are comparing the ET’s capacity for space travel to our human capacity for space travel and are superimposing our human limitations on the ETs and stating that "they cannot get here from out there, because it is impossible for us humans to get out there from here."

This is a logical fallacy. It assumes and implies that intelligent life originates at the same time as us (on the universal time scale), and implies that they do not, and cannot, have technology or physics any more advanced than our own. Basically, implying that ALL physics are already discovered and known by the scientific community.

This is another logical fallacy. There is absolutely no reason to make these assumptions about the possibility of intelligent extraterrestrial life, and it is absolutely not scientific in any respect. The scientists that make these proclamations are not looking at all the available evidence amassed to date, both historical and current. There is actually a preponderance of evidence that we have been visited in the remote past and are still being visited on a regular basis.

Here is an example of what some of the scientists have come up with to debunk the idea of intelligent extraterrestrial life and possible visitations to earth:

Many scientists today quote the Fermi Paradox which is named after physicist Enrico Fermi and refers to the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for, and the high-probability estimates of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. The basic points of the argument, made by physicists Enrico Fermi (1901–1954) and Michael H. Hart (born 1932), are:

According to this line of reasoning, assuming that extraterrestrial life exists, the Earth should have already been visited by intelligent extraterrestrials. ^[4]

J. Allen Hynek stated that there is so much evidence that he called it “an embarrassment of riches”. And that was in the 1960s! There is a great deal of evidence that they (the ETs — or whoever “they” are —we could just label them Non-Human Intelligences or [NHIs]) are possibly hundreds if not thousands, or even millions of years, more technologically advanced than we currently are. If that is true, then it can be safely assumed that —to quote one of Arthur C. Clarke’s adages— “Any sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic” to us. And again, if this is true, and it most likely is, then it can safely be assumed that they would have the ability to easily remain hidden from us, and for our physicists and other scientists to be at a loss to explain any phenomena related to ETs and in reality, this is the current state of the UFO topic. And this is not even taking into consideration the possibility that the governments of the world absolutely know that intelligent ET life exists and has decided to make all knowledge relating to that subject highly classified. It is my opinion that it is ridiculous for our scientists to assume that they (the ETs) are operating on the same technological & physical level as we are simply because our scientists cannot conceive that there could be greater technology or more advanced physics than we currently possess.

It makes me wonder, if it is possible that there may be some hidden agenda behind the nearly unanimous chorus of scientific voices spewing the same information that invariably sows the seeds of doubt within the general public and discourages thoughts concerning intelligent extraterrestrial life and the physics and technology related to ET’s? That certainly seems possible, if not probable. Especially, if the governments of the world are actively hiding all knowledge of the ET subject.

We do have evidence of that very fact. Government documents, that are not in dispute, reveal that the subject was, and still is, highly classified. So, here again, it is safe to assume that the scientific community are assisting the world governments to hide information relating to that subject because all serious scientific projects and research are government funded (in truth, taxpayer funded). If your scientific organization is government funded, you tow the government approved line, or lose your funding. That is not out of the realm of reality, and in fact, there are government documents that allude to that scenario as well.

I have been pondering this subject for over 50 years now, and it is quite an involved topic to study. It spills into many scientific disciplines and many aspects of human history. I have heard the question posed by some scientists, “Why would they be interested in us”? In other words, if the ET’s are so advanced, why would they bother with us? Aren’t we to them, as bugs are to us? These are valid questions.

It has been said by prominent scientists that “we would not stop at an ant hill and try to communicate with them”. ^[6] It is my opinion that the scientists have answered these questions for us already. The Fermi paradox (Where is everybody?) actually assists with answering this question, and the fact that our scientists insist that “they can’t get here from there” is an indicator to the answer as well as the question of “Why would they be interested in us”?

Let us address all three questions at one go. Our scientists are pointing out that our galaxy is quite large. The distances involved are truly beyond vast. They are so vast, that it is deemed impossible to travel those distances in a single life time.^[7]

Notwithstanding is the fact that we are nowhere near the center of our own galaxy, nor is our galaxy near the center of the universe. This fact alone assists with the notion that intelligent life probably spawned somewhere else long before we did.^[8]

We are at the midway point between the edge and the center of our own galaxy. This is far out on a spiral arm. This may imply that our segment of the galaxy may be younger than other parts of the galaxy farther from the center. I have not done research in this area yet, but can guess that farther from the center is older than our segment of the galaxy. Certainly, our solar system is far younger than most of the universe.

That said, let’s look closer at what the scientists are implying, but are not stating plainly, which is that, in our solar system and in our galactic neighborhood there is practically nothing useful close by that would assist intelligent space-faring species and that the intelligence gap is so large – meaning that it would be meaningless to communicate with us and there are far more ways to die here than to thrive. For example, our solar neighborhood consists of a Sun (Sol), a tiny super-heated ball (Mercury), a cloudy, over-heated, volcanic planet (Venus), a dusty desert planet (Mars), an asteroid belt, several gas giants, a couple of nearly planet-sized ice balls, all the other moons and celestial bodies that are devoid of life and atmosphere, etc., etc.

To say the least, nearly every celestial body in our neighborhood is inhospitable in the extreme according to our scientific community.^[9] Our solar system resembles a vast desert. Even the galactic area beyond our solar system resembles a gigantic galactic desert. There is one exception though… Our little oasis called Earth. Here, on Earth, we have abundance of life and abundance of materials. Most especially, an abundance of water. What is it that the scientists keep telling us? Oh yes… it’s water. Water is extremely important to life, in fact, it is assumed that life cannot exist without it. ^[10] (very anthropomorphic or earth-centric in my humble opinion)

Here on earth, we have the most abundant supply of unfrozen and accessible source of water in our entire galactic neighborhood that we know of. I do not believe that anyone has yet postulated this hypothesis (—that our earth is an oasis in a galactic desert). At least, I haven’t heard about it or read it anywhere yet, and I believe that the fact that we are an oasis in a galactic desert is the very reason they are here and have been coming here since the beginning.

Would a galactic oasis be important to a space-faring species? Most assuredly, especially considering the distances to other Earth-like planets that contain liquid water.

Imagine a caravan traveling across a vast desert here on earth and finding an oasis in the middle. Would the caravan stop? Without a doubt, they would. Why would ET’s come to earth? Isn’t it obvious? We are surrounded by a galactic desert, possibly as large as forty or more light years in all directions. Would earth draw the attention of a space-faring species? Yes, It would.

We can also safely assume that if they can cross more than 40 light years, or even 10, in a single lifetime or less, then keeping themselves from being discovered by us would not be difficult because their technology must be far superior to our own. In fact, it is beyond probable that when a human spots an ET craft, it may seem quite baffling or like magic to the witness.

I am of the opinion that it is also possible that they may be integrating themselves within our communities and our power structures in order to keep an eye on what we are up to. It seems fairly obvious that they would be interested in what we are doing with nuclear power and nuclear weapons.^[11]

It also seems logical to postulate that they would harvest genetic material in order to create hybrids to facilitate a more expedient collection of scientific information related to humans and to assist the NHIs in deciphering the human species. Creation of hybrids would also facilitate integration into our social and political structures, assuming the NHIs can tweak the hybrid genes enough to make them eventually look exactly like humans. The hybrids would obviously also have the ability to communicate both with their creators (the ETs) as well as interact with, and fully communicate with humans.

In other words, logically, it makes sense to create something that can operate freely in both worlds. It would facilitate the their ability to collect information about humans, both physiologically, and what our day to day activities consist of, and possibly even the way we think. This hypothesis would go a long way towards explaining abductions. Call them spies if you like, but —logically, I believe that we would do the same if we had a reason to, and if we had the ability to genetically tinker with another species’ genes.^[12]

What is the best way to integrate a foreign species into your own species, without overpowering or having to use violence on that species?

Hybridization would achieve that end without any conflict, assuming that they can keep the knowledge of the end goal from the species being absorbed, and had enough time to complete the project. I believe that if the Europeans had that ability, they would have absorbed the American Indian cultures rather than fighting and destroying them, and the same can be said for the Spanish conquests of Central and South America as well.

In summary, it seems to me that the scientific community are actually aware that NHIs are real (not every single scientist, but those that can and do control what gets researched within the scientific community) and assist the governments of the world in debunking the reality of UFOs and NHIs, and attempt to keep the knowledge about them hidden and classified for various reasons.

I believe that the NHIs would necessarily be far more scientifically and technologically advanced than we are due to the fact that they can visit Earth from out there. They can travel the vast distances in some way that is beyond our understanding of physics. If they can travel those distances (interstellar), then it is logical to assume that they would have no difficulty in preventing us from discovering them, and even if we did happen to accidentally see them, we would not understand what we were witnessing because it would appear as magic to us. And this is in fact, the case. Even when trying to describe UFOs or ETs, it seems we lack the ability or the terminology to adequately describe what is witnessed. This is an indication that their technology and physics are far beyond our understanding, implying that they have existed far longer than we have, and have mastered a higher or more advanced form of physics and science than we currently possess.

It's not necessary to take my word for it. Listen to the Nuclear Physicist above. He is a world-renowned scientist and has been studying the UFO phenomenon for decades. He is a credible source and has been on the front lines of the UFO research community for many years. He has testified before Congress and has been interviewed by numerous media outlets. He has written several books on the subject and has been a consultant for various government agencies. He, as a scientist, is not alone in his efforts to reveal the truth about UFOs and NHIs. There are many other scientists, researchers, and whistle-blowers who have come forward to share their knowledge and experiences. The evidence is overwhelming and cannot be ignored any longer. The time has come for the truth to be revealed and for humanity to acknowledge the reality of intelligent extraterrestrial life.
